## About
Your Watchlists is a movie tracking and ranking web app that aggregates the top films of all time
from seven authoritative sources into a single composite Top 100 list. Users can mark films as seen
or want-to-see, build personal watchlists, and track their progress through the cinematic canon.

## Ranking Sources
The composite ranking combines scores from:
- AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies (American Film Institute)
- IMDb Top 250 (user-driven)
- Metacritic's Critic Picks (professional critics)
- Variety's 100 Greatest Movies (industry)
- BFI Sight & Sound Poll (academic/international)
- Rotten Tomatoes Top 100 (aggregated critic + audience)
- Letterboxd Top 500 Films (community/enthusiast)

Films also receive bonus points for Academy Award Best Picture nominations (-5) and wins (-10),
with lower scores ranking higher.
